Abdellatif Hammouchi and the Inspector General of the Israel Police lay the groundwork for security cooperation

The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdellatif Hammouchi, received, on Tuesday in Rabat, the Inspector General of the Israeli Police, Yaakov Shabti.

“This audience is part of the working visit by the Inspector General of the Israeli Police, at the head of a large security delegation to the Kingdom, with a view to strengthening bilateral cooperation relations in the security domain and lay the foundations for security cooperation in the service of the common interests of the Kingdom of Morocco and the State of Israel”, indicates a press release from the General Directorate of National Security.

Said visit, continues the same source, also aims “to share experiences and expertise in the various security fields, particularly in the fields of the fight once morest terrorism and the different forms of transnational organized crime”.

The press release notes that this meeting was a favorable opportunity for the two parties to underline their firm will and their common determination to open up new prospects for the development of bilateral security cooperation, so as to consolidate regional security and stability and to fight firmly once morest the various criminal threats and perils that threaten the citizens of the two countries.
