Abdel Hafeez on the contract with Abu Jabal and Bencharki: We did not make the offer

Sayed Abdel Hafeez, the football director of Al-Ahly Club, denied the news that linked the red team to contracting with Mohamed Abu Jabal and Ashraf Bencharki, players of Zamalek, indicating that if this happens, it is professionalism in the end.

Abdel Hafeez said in statements on MBC Egypt regarding the contract with Abu Jabal and Ashraf bin Sharqi: “There is nothing official or a positive step in this file.”

And he continued, “So that our name is not included in anything, and the matter was not presented to us, and we did not do the offer in the first place, our name is not involved in anything.”

Abdel Hafeez explained, “If we negotiate or contract, we will not fail to announce, because this is professionalism, and the same issue was used for us before.”

And Zamalek had previously signed Abdullah Al-Saeed, the former Al-Ahly playmaker, before the player retreated and extended his contract with Al-Ahmar, and then the latter offered it for sale.

Abdel Hafeez concluded: “If we want to contract with any name, we will announce that it is within our interests, but so far they have not been presented to us and we have not made a recommendation as a technical body.”
