Asala and Elissa are in circulation
The Lebanese poet and writer Abdel Ghani Tlais revealed the details of his dispute with his fellow artist Elissa and the Syrian artist Asala, noting that the former ignored his kindness to her, and the latter stole his idea in her last song.
Talis said to “Erm News”: “In her singing debut, Elissa spent two years confused regarding what to sing, and what type of performance was appropriate for her, and at that time we were not friends yet, and at that time I wrote an article in “Al-Shabaka” in which I praised her voice, far from the first “Shershaf” songs. I said that there is beauty hidden in her voice, and if she turns to romantic singing, she will succeed and be a star.”
The Lebanese writer added: “Elissa came to my office not believing that this was Abdel Ghani Tlais’s opinion of her (so she said), and she expressed her astonishment, saying: I am coming out of emotional, romantic singing? Then I wrote once more and published a cover or a major topic for her (I don’t remember exactly).” I focused on the oriental and romantic genre of singing.”
Abdel-Ghani Tlais continued: “I do not want anything in return for what I advised her, but I say that when we discuss the most prominent stations in our lives, including the color we chose to sing, we must acknowledge the creditors, especially when we are not convinced of our ability, and then we succeed.”
He pointed out: “I have a firm theory that the stars have two levels of memory, one floor for the memory of beginnings and one floor for the memory of stardom, and the memory of stardom tries to control and erase all the people who helped us with the memory of beginnings.”

As for his crisis with the artist Asala Nasri and the poet Rami Koussa, the Lebanese poet who accused them of stealing his idea for Asala’s song “Box” explained: “The song, any song, is an idea first and then a text, and the idea for Asala’s song is the idea that I published on Facebook. Even her words move in the same atmosphere.”
Regarding the song’s poet Rami’s denial of this, Talis said: “A person who loved someone else’s idea and took it and used it does not confess, and Rami spoke ill of me, and when I told him to ask your teachers and the stars of the Levant regarding me if you are ignorant, that was my right.”
