On the evening of February 26, when the weather was cold, people heard the sound of children crying from the gate of Mr. HVH’s family (living in Nghia Hoi commune) so they went out to check.
People discovered a plastic basket containing a newborn baby girl with 340,000 VND and a note that read: “I am a mother, please remain anonymous. I just had a baby and my ability is not enough to raise a child. I ask you to be the parents of my child and raise him to be a good person. Thank you. My son, I’m sorry.”
At that time, it was too cold at night, so the baby was pale, breathing weak. People tried to warm the baby and informed the authorities.

Nghia Hoi commune police and people took the baby to Nghia Hoi commune health station to check his health and handed over the baby to the commune health staff to take care of him. Mr. H’s wife also went to Nghia Hoi Commune Health Station to take care of and save the baby.
After 7 days of notification, if the child’s parents or relatives do not come to receive the baby, the People’s Committee of Nghia Hoi Commune will consider the procedures for giving and adopting the child according to the law.
