In the Rohr district of Aarau, a seriously injured tomcat was found in a visitor parking lot in front of a residential building on Monday morning. The little boy was left in a milk carton wrapped in a child’s blanket. According to the animal protection organization Netap, there was a food bowl with some food porridge next to it.

The finder took the cat to a veterinary practice for initial care. Netap was asked for help. The young cat is now in a veterinary clinic, where a traumatic brain injury and other impairments have been diagnosed.

Since abandoning animals is a criminal offense, Netap has filed a criminal complaint with the Aargau cantonal police. “Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for people to evade responsibility for their animals by simply abandoning them,” writes the animal protection organization.

The young cat has now been given the name Sugus. He was lucky in misfortune. Netap stood up for him and ensured that everything was done for his recovery. He is on the road to recovery.
