Abacus reorganizes its management. Managing Director Claudio Hintermann will receive support from CFO Christian Huber, says the eastern Swiss software company. From June 1, 2023, the two men will therefore share the role of CEO. Claudio Hintermann, founding member of Abacus, will also assume the duties of Chief Research Officer. Christian Huber will also retain his position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

According to the press release, the management will also be completed from 2023, with long-time Abacus collaborators: Alexander Vetter (CTO), Raffaelle Grillo (COO) and Yvonne Seitz (Chief HR Officer). Abacus is also planning a reshuffle within the board of directors. Current COO Daniel Senn is expected to replace Rainer Kaczmarczyk as chairman. The latter will retire on May 24, 2023, the announcement still indicates.

Improved Abacus management software

Abacus announced this reorganization as part of its 28th Abacus Partner Conference. The company also presented the new features of its management software. New technologies are being integrated into it and make it possible to digitize processes, with the promise of fully dematerialized accounting, underlines the German-speaking publisher.
