$AAPL breaks yet another record; company sticks to $3 trillion

After passing the all-time high for two consecutive days last week, shares of Apple [$AAPL] broke record once more at the close of NASDAQ on tonight. Each share in the company is now worth US$187 — what did the market cap of Apple jump to US$2.941 trillion.

Apparently, there is no big fact that might have influenced the new record. After WWDC23, the current moment around the company is calm, in the midst of expectations for the “iPhone 15″ line (which should be launched in September) and for the Apple Vision Pro, which had its development kit finally released.

The market value achieved by Apple today brings the company even closer to the $3 trillion mark. The number, it is worth remembering, was reached quickly last year, but the company ended up losing steam due to restrictions on the supply of iPhones.

In any case, the possibility of the third trillion arriving is relatively high. The question of the moment, therefore, is a resounding “when”.
