AADE with new weapons in the battle against fuel smuggling – 2024-07-15 03:26:48

The Independent Public Revenue Authority proceeds to launch:

* electronic receipt in the Input-Output system of the data from Tax Warehouses and Customs Storage Warehouses and

* operation of the digital application of the Register of Tanks of Energy Products of Floating Means (Tankers).

In particular, circulars issued by the commander of AADE, Giorgos Pitsilis, stipulate that:

A. From 21/3/2024, the electronic sending of the data generated by the installed input-output monitoring systems of the Tax Warehouses and the Customs Saving Warehouses to the Input-Output monitoring information system of AADE begins.

Detailed instructions for the receipt and management of the necessary subscription keys will be sent to the responsible managers of the facilities via e-mail, to the account they have registered in the Contact Register of the digital portal myAADE.

B. From 19/3/2024, the operation of the digital application of the Register of Energy Products Tanks of Floating Means (tankers) begins.

In particular, the full registration of the data concerning them must be done by:

– 19/3/2024 until 19/5/2024, the charterers, the AIS device installers and the installers of the marine fuel Inflows – Outflows monitoring system,
– 19/5/2024 to 19/8/2024, shipowners.

Detailed instructions for the use of the application will be available on the website of AADE, www.aade.gr, on the day of the start of its production operation, while for further clarifications, support will be provided by the Taxpayer Service Center of AADE, on the phone 213 162 1000 , on working days and hours 07:30 – 17:00.

The commander of AADE, Giorgos Pitsilis, said: “We are adding two more digital tools to the fight once morest smuggling. The digital receipt of data from Tax Warehouses and Customs Savings Warehouses in the Input-Output system facilitates the supervision of the energy products market, while the new digital application for the Register of Tanks of Energy Products of Floating Vehicles creates conditions for improving fuel control in most of the supply chain, expanding the functionalities of the Input-Output system. We remain committed to the goal of upgrading the system within 2024.”
