This morning the two centres of theApu Old Wild West Udine for the 2024-2025 season: Davide Ugly ones e Giovanni Beans. The two Juventus players answered questions from journalists present at the press conference. The sporting director was also present to officiate the meeting Andrea Thanks.

It was a gregarious presentation. First of all, because they were introduced as a pair. Almost as if they needed to give each other a hand. Couldn’t Bruttini alone and Pini alone handle the scene? The one who pulled them along, but that’s part of the game, was ds Gracis. Of the sort, they don’t need any introductions given the years they’ve been in the breach between Serie A and A2. Seen, liked, it was all very simple and in fact, we add, it doesn’t seem like there was a queue to compete for them. They don’t need to score to be useful to the team, they have great defensive solidity and are facilitators of the game. Gregarious, in fact, and those in the team are also needed, let’s be clear. I reciprocate the Apu’s infatuation with the two new arrivals and theirs with the club. After that, now, it’s also part of the game that the press serves questions and assists. Pini jumped at the chance on this blessed A2 2024-2025 with twenty teams. He said that since the first month the calendar is and has been the most striking response of a gregarious press conference. Guys, let’s take it easy with this story that the reformed A2 with 20 clubs is beautiful. It is still the second Italian championship, amateur, and maybe let’s let the parquet do some talking first. The other assist was used for an official defense of Bruttini’s identity card, entrusted to the interested party himself which also leaves room for discussion because in Friuli we are not the only ones to remember that he too was a promising young man so much so that in 2005, almost twenty years ago now, he was named MVP of the junior finals won with his Virtus Siena in Lignano. Gracis also comes to his aid: 41 games played with 25 minutes on average last season speak for Davide, to save Cento we remember.

Gentlemen, the identity card, like it or not, exists and unless Apu intends to facilitate the good Bruttini by reducing the year to a minimum, here we risk playing many more games than last season. They will play 38, like Davide’s years in February (and Pini himself, Matteo Da Ros and also Xavier Johnson strong wingers or 5 tacticians are over thirty), only the first that will be promoted directly, the last that will be relegated directly, 14th and 15th classified that will go on vacation. Naturally, if Udine were to place in one of these positions we would wish them the promotion, longed for in Apu’s house. If not, we will continue by playing at least one play-in match 10th-13th and 11th-12th and the winners of this will play another with 8th and/or 9th to enter the play-offs, to which the teams placed 2nd to 7th will have the right without play-in. All play-off rounds – quarter-finals, semi-finals and final – will be played as best of 5 games. So, at best, another 9 games with series all ending 3-0, otherwise we will end up playing 15. In short, the second promoted team will arrive in A at most after 55 matches, at least 49, between the regular season and the post season if they go through the whole process from the first play-in round. If a team that qualifies directly for the play-offs moves up a category, it will arrive at least after 47, at most after 53 games. Shorter season for those who will play the single-round play-offs 16th-19th and 17th-18th best of 5 games, the season can be resolved with 41 to 43 matches.

Forty-one like the matches, with 25 minutes played, played last season in the play-out with Cento by Bruttini, who in the meantime does not get any younger. Should we hope for a repeat or, better, a first direct play-off round also resolved in three games, which also makes 41 in total? Let’s get on with the presentations of the Apu big shots or will they all be gregarious?!
