A young woman in her twenties has employed thousands of Jordanians during the past hours, following she posted an influential message on her Facebook account. Hours following that message, hundreds of activists and social media pioneers responded to Ruba Tawabini’s appeal to save her father’s restaurant from bankruptcy.
The story began when the young woman called her father and told her that he might not sell the shawarma that he had prepared, days ago.
She wrote a comment in which she expressed her sadness at what happened to him.
Purchase orders poured in!
It was only hours until the situation of the restaurant changed, as activists responded to her message, and the number of fans of the restaurant’s page reached 149,000 people, down from 97 people.
Within less than hours of the appeal’s publication, purchase orders poured into the restaurant located south of the capital, Amman, which became the talk of public opinion.
The girl thanked the Jordanians for sympathizing with her and standing by her father in the crisis he was going through, stressing that this situation is not strange for Jordanians.
“You mightn’t believe what happened”
In turn, Toabini told “Al Arabiya.net” that she did not believe what happened to her, and did not expect what happened to her and her father.
She also added, “All I hoped was that my father would sell the quantity that was there, and my goal was not .” She confirmed her support and support for her father at all times, as she will use social networking sites to market the food provided by her father.

For his part, Jordanian Minister of Labor Nayef Istitieh visited the restaurant today and stressed that it provides experiences to Jordanian youth, and is “self-supporting.”
He pointed out that the girl published a sublime and purposeful message, due to her insistence on supporting and supporting her father in his crisis, and what she achieved today is a message to all Jordanian youth to urge them to work with their efforts.
