Doctors from the guard attended the young man and confirmed his death due to “a firearm wound with an entry hole in the left pneumothorax and a dorsal lumbar exit hole”indicated the health authorities.
For its part, the prosecutor’s office on duty ordered that police personnel search and individualize in a nearby square the people who participated in the fight to obtain more information to clarify the fact.
Once there, the people reacted to the police presence and decided not to provide information and left the place, while the police seized some items such as a mitten and a couple of “punches,” according to sources told the agency.
In this context and in the presence of a crime in which police personnel may have been involvedthe district chief, inspector commissioner Paul Dominguezgave notice to the head of the General Security Inspection (IGS), Marcelo Puertas.
The investigation, at the judicial level, was carried out by the prosecutor Javier Giaroliwho ordered that the first troops who arrived at the scene be separated and apprehended and their weapons seized for expert reports, while progress is made in the investigation into the death of the young man.
