The recording shows the young man sitting in an armchair on a subway platform waiting for the arrival of a convoy and, when it arrives, he enters the carriage with the armchair and sits down in it once more. He then gets off at a station and uses the straps sewn to the sofa from a stall to put it on like a backpack and walk up the stairs.
After the clip spread on the Internet, some journalists found the protagonist and interviewed him. The young man said that he worked in an office and that the idea of creating a portable chair occurred to him when he might not find a seat in the carriage. So the boy and his friends decided to create the sofa and record a video regarding his practical invention.

The young man, who identified himself on the Internet with his name, ‘Sandía’, stated that with the video he wanted to teach people to enjoy life. He also explained that it was not recorded at rush hour so as not to disturb other passengers. In addition, before entering the subway with the armchair, the young people asked permission from the staff and underwent a security check.
Many users have wondered to what extent it is safe to travel on public transport with such an armchair and how the guards allowed him to enter with this object. Hangzhou Metro staff responded by saying that they paid attention to the cargo and ensured that it complied with the permitted dimensions. For example, the weight of the cargo must not exceed 30 kilograms, the sum of length, width and height must not exceed 1.8 meters, and it must not disturb other passengers.
