A woman wanting to display her calligraphy in the Kaaba, Masjid an-Nabawi

Sadaf Nisar, who hails from Rawalpindi, has been reciting Quranic verses through beads for the past three decades Calligraphy are doing

Apart from Pakistan, the artworks made by her are in great demand in Middle East countries as well, but she wishes to display her artworks in Kaaba and Masjid Nabawi.

Sadaf told Independent Urdu that this art is called beadwork or beads work and it Calligraphy Apart from this, portraits and flags etc. can also be made.

‘This art was gifted to my father by nature, he did not learn it from anyone.

‘Seeing them, I got this hobby. He has done this in his 40 years of life. I have also been doing this work since my childhood and I have also been in this field for almost 30 years.’

Sadaf’s art has been exhibited all over Pakistan by the Arts Council and he has also received an award from the Folk Heritage.

Regarding the demand for his artworks in the Middle East, he said that ‘we have not gone there ourselves, but a lot of our work has gone there. Some of the families there had taken our work as a gift, then someone saw it and said, “Where did you bring it from? This is a very unique work.” They liked the thing and then had us work on the order.’

According to Sadaf Nisar, she wants her artworks to be displayed in Kaaba and Masjid Nabawi.

The largest shell art ever made was two feet wide and three feet long Ayatul Kursi which he prepared by working eight hours a day for a month.

He said it was a very delicate work, using the finest pearls and the finest needles.

According to Sadaf: ‘The main thing is that by putting a thread in the needle, people turn back so that our eyesight does not become weak or if we work, our muscles do not become weak or our back does not suffer. For this reason people come but no one has fully learned.’
