Al-Marsad newspaper: Citizen Samaher Muhammad Al-Ruwaili talked about how she was able to prove that women are capable of working in all fields; Through her work in the field of contracting, starting with working in an institution with people until she was able to open her own institution.
Samaher said during her interview with the “Sabah Al-Saudia” program, that she began her career by selling private iron in the field of construction, and by practicing the profession, she learned the sizes and qualities of concrete, pointing out that after that she decided to enter the field to become a contractor.
She emphasized that Vision 2030 provided the opportunity for women to enter the field, which encouraged her and many women to offer something somewhat different from the norm, noting that people’s support and encouragement helped her succeed.
And she indicated that she is following up and supervising the work from the stage of drilling to the stage of handing over the key, saying: “Certainly, I do not know how fine wood or ashy bricks are.”
And she continued: “People are surprised by my work in this field, and they see that this field is not permissible for women, but the person who is looking for his livelihood finds it anywhere.”
