The minor was taken to a hospital.
A woman whom the authorities only know as “Lucy” was shot dead by unknown individuals, in La Cañada de Urdaneta; and her 11-year-old son was wounded by multiple shots.
The crime, according to the police report of the Zulia State Police Corps (Cpez), occurred at 7:50 p.m. in the Villa Camelia housing complex.
The victim was shot in the parietal region of the skull and another in the right thigh. Her son was transferred to an emergency hospital in Maracaibo, reported Final version.
Commissions from the Cpez and the PNB, as well as officials from the Cicpc Homicide Brigade, moved to the site of the event, who were in charge of lifting the body of the female.
For now, the authorities have not revealed the motive for the murder.
