A wild boar bites a girl on the beach of Cadaques

While the center of Cadaques was crowded, a boar targeted a 10-year-old girl by biting her in the leg.

In search of food as close as possible to dwellings, wild boars are now almost part of the landscape of Cadaques. But what happened this Monday evening, around 10 p.m., in the center of the city made famous by Dalí is cause for concern.

While the streets were crowded on this hot summer evening, a more aggressive boar bit a 10-year-old girl who was playing on the beach with other children.

Quickly taken care of by the medical services, the little girl was transported to a medical center and then to the Figuères hospital even if her injuries did not cause any concern on the spot.

The young girl was able to leave the hospital overnight from Monday to Tuesday following being treated for a wound indicates TV3. A wound that might have been caused more by the defense of the animal than by a bite.

After this attack, the mayor of Cadaqués indicated that measures once morest wild boars will be reinforced. The municipal authorities also call not to feed the animals that roam the streets of the seaside town.
