“Agadir 24” learned from its scientific sources that Lieutenant General Mohamed Haramou, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, recently issued a broad movement of appointments and transfers that benefited hundreds of gendarmes and officials in various squadrons, territorial centers, general intelligence services, and motorcycle squadrons.

The list of appointments and promotions included senior Royal Gendarmerie officials in many regions of the Kingdom, and some sensitive and senior positions in the Royal Gendarmerie High Command in Rabat.

The commander of the Royal Gendarmerie Company in the Taza region, Nabil Belarbi, was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, General Abdel Rahman Lotfi was promoted to the rank of Divisional General, and Mehdi Wahbi, the regional commander of the Royal Gendarmerie in the Chichaoua Company, was promoted to the rank of Commander.
Mustafa Najar, the regional commander of the Royal Gendarmerie in the Youssoufia Province Company, was also promoted to the rank of Major Commander, and the commander of the Royal Gendarmerie Company Sidi Bennour Mohamed Amin Alwan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.

The promotions also included the commander of the Royal Gendarmerie Company in Zaio to the rank of colonel, and the regional commander in Guelmim to the rank of colonel major.

These promotions come within the framework of consecrating the culture of recognizing the pioneering role played by this group, which has demonstrated its loyalty and engagement on all occasions, and its confrontation of all forms of crime in many situations, and the sacrifices it has also demonstrated.
