The weekend promises to be somewhat colorful in Quebec. The return of the sun is expected on Saturday with the passage of a cold front. Then, another system will affect the province on Sunday, but rather at the end of the day.

Another low pressure system is on its way to Quebec on Sunday. In the south of the province, particularly in Montreal, the rain might start around mid-followingnoon. Quantities might reach 50 mm in places by Sunday evening. Sectors north of the river will be the most affected.
Risk of thunderstorms
Several regions of Quebec might see action as a risk of thunderstorms is forecast for Saturday evening and Sunday.
For Saturday, the risks of seeing thunderstorms are for the northwestern sectors, going towards the Saguenay.
For Sunday, the sectors concerned will be Outaouais, Pontiac, Abitibi, Montreal and Trois-Rivières.
Although the likelihood of cells forming remains low, heavy rain and small hail might fall.
Outaouais and Saguenay might receive good amounts of rain on Sunday.
