The CSMCO diving club is participating in the Hauts-de-France Propres operation by organizing a waste collection this Sunday on the beach in Boulogne, in conjunction with the association An ocean of life and Nausicaa. The event is open to all and will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Meet at the Nausicaa square to take part.

The day before, the divers stick to it

The day before, Saturday at 10:30 a.m., it’s less conventional waste collection which is planned. Divers will remove the dirt that accumulates in the Napoleon Basin. “ We organize this collection annually. This time, only divers who are members of our club can participate, but everyone can come to see how much waste there is in the port », specifies Karine Descharles, of the CSMCO.

These citizen initiatives take place as part of the 7th edition of Hauts-de-France Propres, organized by the Hauts-de-France Region and its partners, from March 15 to 17. Other waste collections are planned in Boulonnais. A list is available on the site www.hautsdefrance-propres.fr.
