A Warzone player shared a clip of what appeared to be a game-ending clutch, which turned into a colossal mistake.
The end of a Warzone match is always full of chaos. As the gas closes in around everyone, players will use any means to stay alive.
There is very little room to maneuver, so they have to be careful to make the right move at the right time.
But things don’t always go as planned, as shown in a clip shared by a player who thought he had the game in his pocket before making a huge mistake.

Warzone player turns clutch into fatal mistake
The player shared the clip on the Warzone subreddit, with a rather misleading title: “I pulled off this incredible clutch solo today.”
In the clip, the person is one of the last two survivors in the match, so he decides to use a Precision Strike on the opponent as the circle closes.
He aims perfectly and dodges just in time to see the strike hit the enemy, knocking them down.

It seems he has victory in hand, except he forgets one essential thing: the strike has a second missile.

As he approaches the downed opponent, this second shot lands, killing him instantly, and the clip ends with the “2nd Place” screen taunting him.
The reaction to the clip was the usual banter, with one user saying, “I didn’t see that coming, lol.”
Others pointed out that he was too greedy for the kill, resulting in his death. Honestly, these players might be right.
Unfortunately, the author of the post is now among the many blunders that helped make Warzone what it is.
