a wagon derails and ejects the 4 people inside, two visitors aged 21 and 24 between life and death

The dramatic facts took place in an amusement park in Greece, the “Allou! Fun Park” of Athens. A compartment of an attraction of the same type as the “Flashback” in Walibi separated from the rails and expelled the four people who were there. The attraction, named “La Isla”, includes separate boats that can accommodate up to four people.

According to information from the Mirror, the machine derailed while traveling at high speed on a slope. The police arrested the manager of the amusement park.

Among the victims, a 21-year-old woman was admitted to intensive care with serious injuries, while a 24-year-old man suffered a ruptured spleen. Both are in very serious condition.

Two other injuries, lighter, are to be deplored. A 22-year-old woman suffered a concussion and a 25-year-old man with minor injuries was treated in hospital and later released.

According to reports from the investigation, the water level was not good and the car did not brake, causing it to derail. Later, the amusement park denied the facts: “Regarding what has been written in the press regarding the incident, we would like to confirm that there was never a train derailment and that the level of water was sufficient for the safe operation of the ride. We still do not know the exact reasons why the group was thrown out of the wagon, but we are in communication with them to find out all the details of the incident”.
