The St. Lawrence River began to overflow around 4:30 p.m., coinciding with high tide.

Moreover, the Quebec City Police Department advises the population to avoid the area near Dalhousie Street.

The river also overflows on the western tip of Île d’Orléans.

The Sûreté du Québec is advising residents of this part of the island to move their vehicles elsewhere if they want to be able to use it.

The Horatio-Walker promenade in Sainte-Pétronille is submerged.

A gust of 120 km/h has just been recorded on Île d’Orléans.
