Books – Mohamed Emara:
Jaber Hassanein, uncle of young Abdullah Darwish, one of the victims of the Sheikh Zayed accident, revealed; The accused, Karim Al-Hawari, son of businessman Mohamed Al-Hawari, was the reason for waiving the case five days before the hearing, just before the Eid holiday.
Hassanein added, during exclusive statements to “Masrawy”, today, Tuesday: Our Lord replaced us in our son, and we considered him a martyr with our Lord, and we accepted reconciliation; Because the man has consoled us in our home, he, his family and some of his friends, and we have temperaments, traditions, and origins in our country.
And the uncle of the young man, Abdullah Darwish, one of the victims of the accident, continued: “Our proverb says if your enemy visits you to your door, tell him you are welcome. The man who did the duty went to our house and we accepted the condolences. For God’s sake, I said it to him 12 times, and we considered our son a martyr with our Lord.”
Regarding what was raised regarding the interference of Al-Azhar and the clergy in the case, Hassanein said: Their interference was not official. There are grateful people who are volunteers in the matter and have nothing to do with us or with it.. People have heard regarding the subject and wanted to talk regarding it; In truth, their words have shown me the right path, and I am convinced.. and these are the words of our Lord, and I will not disagree with him.
Hassanein continued, commenting on the statements of Mohamed Hammouda, the defendant’s lawyer, that Al-Hawari, the businessman, did not pay them money as compensation to give up the case: His words are correct, I disagreed with him wholeheartedly in the case, and this is my right; Because this is a case, and he was trying to obliterate the evidence… But I told him two words and directed them through the social media, since this is his job and he is being paid for it.
The victim’s uncle added: The agreement is for my family; The man came following a lot of negotiations, and I gave up five days before the session, just before the Eid holiday, and I was the last one to give up, I said my words clearly, I gave up two days before Eid; If my brain had money, I would have given up before that; In order for me to have a chance to speak, I said it to the man in my house (I abdicate in the face of God), and you will not be underestimated by me, to make it clear to people (I have given up for the sake of God’s words, not my words or the words of anyone), I abdicated for the sake of God; I said it to the man 12 times.”
Hassanein continued: I accepted the words of our Lord when people told me that the causes were many and death is one, and forgiveness is when it is possible, and I forgive for the sake of God so that people remain knowledgeable.
