A TikTok video featuring an American tourist in a daze has many Quebecers smiling today.
Published Tuesday at the end of the day by the Tiktokeur @mishka.nikzebiwho describes himself as the “Future Premier of Quebec”, the video sequence of regarding forty seconds shows what we are presented with as an American in the process of turning his life upside down regarding Quebec.

“Quebec is the best! I’m telling you! The best place I’ve ever been to in my life!” he says with an enthusiasm requiring many exclamation marks.
He then repeats his shock statement, stating that he has been to each of the 50 American states and that Quebec is the best.
When the TikTokeur asks him why he appreciates the Belle province, the American citizen does not enfarge himself in the flowers of the carpet and exclaims candidly: “Women! The women on my tail!”. Mini discomfort…
He then launches into a folk dance to the sound of the Smiling Bottine, before learning the picturesque expression “Tokébac icitte” that we all cheerfully use.

But actually, the short video you just saw is taken from a YouTube video titled “MONTREAL AFTER MIDNIGHT Part.2” and posted by the same Mishka.
At the start of it, the content creator recounts his approach: “Today, we are going to go to Saint-Laurent Boulevard and see how people are fools when they consume alcohol”.
There follows a string of encounters with more or less drunk and more or less interesting people.
But the American tourist easily wins the palm of the best tourist.
