A video of Mohamed bin Zayed’s reception of Sisi in Abu Dhabi circulated

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Activists on social media circulated the way Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, shedding light on the great hospitality in this reception.

And the Egyptian presidential spokesman published on his official Facebook page videos and photos of Sisi’s visit and his reception in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.

On Wednesday, Sisi held talks in the United Arab Emirates with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in addition to Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa.

According to an Egyptian presidential statement, during the four-way talks, Sisi discussed “developments of regional issues of mutual interest, and ways to enhance coordination and cooperation between brothers to advance joint Arab action mechanisms in facing the current challenges facing the region.”

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed stressed the “accelerated steps taken by sister Egypt in implementing vital and qualitative development projects to create a sustainable and prosperous future for its future generations,” according to the Emirates News Agency.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed valued Egypt’s stance towards Houthi attacks on civilian sites and facilities in the UAE.

For his part, Al-Sisi affirmed, “Egypt’s condemnation of any terrorist act committed by the Houthi militia to target the security, safety and stability of the UAE and its citizens, and its support for all measures taken by the UAE to deal with any terrorist act targeting it within the framework of Egypt’s firm position in supporting the security and stability of the United Arab Emirates and the close link between Egyptian national security and the security of the Emirates.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Egyptian President affirmed that they will continue to work together to confront regional interference and attempts to sow division and division among the countries of the region and cooperate as one front to confront the risks and challenges facing the Arab region, especially terrorism and the countries that support it.
