The artist, Ghada Al-Shamaa, is one of the artists who rose to prominence and spread their fame and femininity in Egyptian art in the late eighties until the nineties of the last century.

The Syrian artist, Ghada Al-Shama’a, was born in Syria on December 31, 1959. She began her artistic career during the mid-seventies of the last century, in 1976, when she participated in the series “Al-Bayader”.

However, the real discovery of her talent was through the artist Duraid Lahham following her presence in the series “Where is the mistake” in 1979, and then participated in many Syrian films.

Ghada Al-Shamaa’s breakthrough in Egyptian cinema came when the able Egyptian director Hossam El-Din Mostafa nominated her to participate with him in the movie “Sikt Al-Nadamah” with artist Mahmoud Abdel Aziz and Yousra, and then her artworks continued between action, show and comedy.

Among the most important films of Ghada Al-Shama’a in Egypt are “The Troubles and the Captain” in 1991 with the artist Mamdouh Abdel Alim, the movie “The Heart and What Loves” with the artist Mohamed Fouad, Suheir Al-Babli and Salah Kabil, and the movie “The Devil’s Way” with Mimi Jamal, Mahmoud Al-Jundi and Waheed Seif, and the movie “The Devil’s Way” Al-Hasna’a struggle.”

And the movie “Under a quarter for a pound and a quarter”, in 2000, and following this movie she moved away from acting until 2011 and returned and presented a Syrian series called “Bomb Action”, and then moved away once more.

In an interview with the Egyptian newspaper Al-Fajr, Ghada Al-Shamaa explained the reasons for her refusal to participate in the movie “Fantastic”, as she said that she apologized for the role because of the presence of a kiss in the film with the artist Ahmed Zaki, pointing out that she did not present the kiss in the cinema before and will not do it Because she is an Arab woman,

Noting that because of that kiss, which was insisted upon by the scriptwriter Bashir Al-Deek, the director Ali Badrakhan and the artist Ahmed Zaki, she apologized for the work.

Ghada Al-Shamaa added that the artist Ahmed Zaki told her, “I want to kiss,” noting that at that time she was married to a man from the Gulf and he refused the matter, pointing out that she lost an important movie because of her disapproval of this scene.

Emphasizing her current remorse for that, because it was a necessary role with an artist of the size of Ahmed Zaki, and working with him is not repeated, explaining that it was the opportunity of her life.
