The other person killed is José Perosso Zabala, an escort of Venezuelan origin, who had a history of possession of weapons and had been captured, prosecuted and – at the time of the crime – should have been under house arrest.

The authorities are already clear regarding the route that the Toyota van, with CIE-835 license plates, made in Bogotá during the night of August 18. It was also known that Useche acquired the armored vehicle in March of this year.

There is also a key video in the investigation of the macabre crime, in which the truck is seen passing through the Andes toll.

The mayor also explained that everything indicates that the murders were committed outside of Bogotá, with coup de grace around 3 pm on Thursday, and they were left abandoned on the North highway on the night of the same day.
