On Friday night, a tragic road accident occurred in Gingelom, Limburg. As per Gazet Van Antwerpen, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to leave the road and hit several trees. Sadly, one person lost their life, and three were inside the van at the time of the crash. The firefighters of Limburg’s southwest area responded to the incident, and the local police closed the chaussée de Waremme temporarily. An expert from the Limburg public prosecutor’s office also investigated the accident.
A man lost his life in a tragic road accident in Gingelom, in the province of Limburg, on Friday evening around midnight. According to Gazet Van Antwerpen, the motorist left the road following losing control of his vehicle.
The van hit several trees and became immobilized on the road. Three people were inside the vehicle. Unfortunately, the driver did not survive the crash.
The firefighters of the south-west area of Limburg were called to the scene. The local police in the Saint-Trond-Gingelom-Nieuwerkerken area have temporarily closed the chaussée de Waremme to traffic.
The Limburg public prosecutor’s office sent an expert on site to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
