Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM) achieved a good financial performance for the 2022 financial year. The company indeed achieved a marked improvement in turnover. On a consolidated basis, ADM’s turnover amounted to 4.01 billion dirhams, up 6%. In social terms, it stands at 3.38 billion dirhams, up 5.5% compared to the 2021 financial year. These figures were revealed on the sidelines of the ADM board of directors meeting recently under the chairmanship of Nizar Baraka, Minister of Equipment and Water. For the 2022 financial year, ADM’s investments amount to 623 million dirhams. They mainly concern tripling and automation projects. Net investment stands in this direction around 68.75 billion dirhams, an improvement of 0.4% compared to the previous year. With regard to the consolidated net income, ADM indicates that it was impacted by the Forex thus settling at -910 million dirhams.

Note that the company’s net income, strongly impacted by an unfavorable Forex, amounted to -699 million dirhams. It should be noted that due to Forex, the debt increased, in social terms, by 300 million dirhams compared to 2021, thus posting a balance of 39.18 billion dirhams at the end of 2022. As a reminder, ADM continued during 2022 the implementation of its projects and work sites relating to its dual mission, namely the development of the motorway infrastructure and service to the user. “In terms of the development of the motorway infrastructure, we started the year with the launch of the home stretch of the strategic project to triple the Casablanca-Berrechid motorway and the Casablanca bypass motorway, in particular the two last batches (Lot 2 and 3)”, can be noted from ADM. And to emphasize that “at the end of 2022, the works reached a state of progress of around 33% and 22% respectively, which is ahead of the provisional schedule despite the difficulties encountered throughout the route, particularly in terms of managing the very high traffic on these motorway axes requiring high requirements in terms of safety, technicality and innovation”.

ADM also continued the deployment of the 2021-2023 highway pavement major repair program, relying on a 100% Moroccan ecosystem and on cutting-edge technological means allowing the segmentation of the network, the collection of periodic data and the prioritization of the sections to be treated. Maintaining the close link with motorway users was also at the heart of ADM’s priorities in 2022. Several media and field campaigns have been launched in this direction, in particular the “#Twehechnakom” campaign in response to the High Royal Instructions which call for the federation and mobilization of all actors and stakeholders, through a collective and coordinated mode of intervention, to welcome Moroccans around the world in the best conditions. A device for entertainment and relaxation has been set up in this respect in some service areas of the motorway network, in addition to a communication campaign on television, radio and social networks.
