Tunisian actress and broadcaster Haifa Habib Mreizq sparked controversy among Algerian pioneers of social networking sites, because of her statements during her hosting of a television program on one of the Algerian channels.

Tunisian Haifa said that she had received hundreds of marriage requests from Algerians, including well-known personalities and senior businessmen, but she did not accept any offer from them.
