A train stopped in Livadia due to a fire – 2024-04-01 02:03:36

A fire broke out near Livadia, near the lines, at noon on Friday (29/3).

The Fire Department was immediately notified and the fire was brought under control, however the Intercity 54 train, which runs the route Athens – Thessaloniki, had to stop at the city’s railway station.

As reported by Hellenic Train, the OSE and the Fire Brigade gave the relevant order to park the train at the station while a delay is expected in the route.

According to the Fire Department, the fire is burning in a rural area, while five firefighters with two vehicles are working at the scene.
