The fourth edition of the Ultra Trail of the Jura Mountains (UTMJ) takes place from September 30 to October 1. More than 3,000 participants are registered for all six races, from 10 to 175 km.

L’association Mont d’Or area, organizer of this event, is therefore offering this year six distances and seven events in two countries, France and Switzerland, and three departments, Doubs, Jura and Ain. If the main event of 175 km remains the showcase, especially since it is the only Ultra-trail organized in the Jura mountains, the organization wishes to go even further, for its fourth edition, in order to attract more trailers to this magnificent region, a playground for all sports and nature lovers.
To make the event accessible to as many people as possible, the organization is offering two new features: the arrival of a 10 km course, the Chamois, accessible from 16 years old, as well as the establishment of a relay on the UTMJ (175km), which can range from 2 to 6 people maximum per team (including one obligatory female).

The tests
• The queen event, the UTMJ: 175 km and 7000m D+departure from Lancrans (01) on Friday September 29 arriving in Métabief (25), in semi-autonomy.
• Franco-Switzerland: 105 km and 4000m D+, departure from Les Rousses (39) on Saturday September 30, taking the end of the UTMJ route. Limited to 800 runners.
• La Renarde: 75 km and 2600m D+, departure from Les Rousses (39) on Saturday September 30 for an arrival in Métabief (25). Limited to 900 runners.
• La CMM: 40km and 1100m D+, departure from Chapelle des Bois (25) on Sunday October 1st for an arrival in Métabief (25). Limited to 900 runners.
• The Lynx: 20 km and 800m D+, departure from the Doubs source in Mouthe (25) on Sunday October 1st. Limited to 900 runners.
• La Chamois: 10 km and 400m D+, departure from Granges Raguin (25) on Saturday September 30 for an arrival in Métabief (25). Limited to 500 runners.
