We take a look at the 10 clubs that have been linked with a potential arrival for the former MVP, and what they’ve said regarding the quarterback.
PHOENIX — The cornerback of the Baltimore Ravens, Marlon Humphrey, believed that the franchise announcement Lamar Jackson Your trade request was made at the right time on Sunday, when you saw a group photo with all the decision makers of the NFLduring the league owners meeting.
The “8 Reveal Farewell Tweet As All 32 GMs Stand Together,” he wrote Humphrey on Monday.
But if Jackson’s plan was to generate interest from other teams, it doesn’t appear to have worked, at least publicly. On Tuesday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, san francisco 49ers y Detroit Lions joined the Washington Commanders, New York Jets y Carolina Panthers like the teams that have declared they won’t go following Jackson, who has no agent and deals on his own behalf.
The team that has expressed the greatest interest in Jackson have been the Ravenswho placed the non-exclusive franchise player designation on the quarterback on March 7.
“I’m sure they’ll fix it there,” said the Los Angeles coach. 49ers, Kyle Shanahan .
Under the non-exclusive label, Jackson You can start contract negotiations with other teams. Yeah Jackson sign an offer, Baltimore he’ll have five days to match it, or receive two first-round picks as compensation. The deadline for Jackson get a multi-year contract is July 17.
When asked if the Ravens have held contract discussions with Jackson, the head coach John Harbaugh he said, “I know they’re working hard on it. They try to stay in constant contact. You don’t talk every second of the day, but as far as I know, it’s very consistent.”

Head coach Arthur Smith declined to discuss Jackson by name, saying, “Let’s talk regarding our own players.” Smith has declared Ridder his starting quarterback.
Smith added, “Here’s our take on all of these hypothetical questions around the league: Whenever you’re looking to improve your football team, it’s part of your job to be aware of what’s going on and watch everything. Some of those rumors are true, some not. We take everything into consideration.”
Falcons owner Arthur Blank praised Jackson when he spoke to local reporters Tuesday, but also noted that the former NFL MVP has missed 11 games over the past two seasons, including the Wild Card Round loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last year. “Looking at him objectively, there’s some concern regarding how long you can stick with his style of play,” Blank acknowledged. “I hope, a long time … but he’s missed five, six games over each of the last two years. Every game counts for a lot in our business.”

After the Panthers traded up the draft order to get the best quarterback on their evaluation table, general manager Scott Fitterer said last week, “[Jackson] It’s a great option, a really expensive option. But, we’re more focused on draft picks at this point.”

“Lamar is a great talent,” said head coach Dan Campbell. “But, man, we’ve got a quarterback. And, thank God, we’ve got one. So we’re good.”

Colts general manager Chris Ballard confirmed the team’s interest in Jackson, saying, “Whenever a special player is available, which he is, you’ve got to do the job. But, you never know how this is going to work out.” Colts owner Jim Irsay later said that “You’re always looking for great dynamic players,” but noted that “it’s important not to compromise your future by doing it.”

Patriots owner Robert Kraft said Jackson got a recommendation from a popular rapper. “You know, Meek Mill is my friend,” Kraft commented. “He sent me a message saying that Lamar Jackson I wanted to come here. But, that’s Bill’s decision [Belichick]”.
Quarterbacks actuales: Zach Wilson, Chris Streveler.
First round picks: N° 13.
Jets general manager Joe Douglas said his focus is on acquiring Aaron Rodgers in exchange with the Green Bay Packersand that he would not turn his attention to Jackson to put pressure on the Packers, saying, “It would be disingenuous and in bad faith to deal if we went that route.”

Shanahan indicated that the 49ers would not consider adding Jackson, stating, “We have three quarterbacks that we’re very good with right now. We’re pretty set with how we’ve built our roster in terms of salary cap.”

First round picks: No. 5 and 20.
The Seahawks re-signed Smith on March 6, one day before the Ravens tagged Jackson. Seattle coach Pete Carroll said, “I mightn’t imagine him being available, and we mightn’t afford him.”

First round picks: N° 19.
The Buccaneers have just $2.4 million in cap space, and coach Todd Bowles said that any offer the team might make, “It would be an insult to a player like that.”
“We know it’s time for us to get under the cap, and he makes a lot of money,” Bowles said. “But he’s a great player, and I hate playing once morest him.”
Quarterbacks actuales: Sam Howell, Jacoby Brissett, Jake Fromm.
First round picks: N° 16.
The Commanders won’t be looking to add Jackson. General manager Martin Mayhew said: “I’m not going to get into specific details regarding him. I don’t want to sound critical of anybody. He’s a very talented guy. He’s one of the best quarterbacks in this league. But for us right now, we’ll keep going. Go ahead with Sam and Jacoby.”
