A 35-year-old tourist died this followingnoon when he entered the waters of the Quilpo River, in the town of San Marcos Sierras, in the north of the province of Córdoba.
According to police information, the event occurred around 2 in the followingnoon, when the man from the neighboring Capilla del Monte entered the water in the sector known as the 3 Piletas Tío Rico campsite.
The indicated place would be regarding four meters deep.
When the people who were present took the body out of the water, they began the resuscitation maneuvers, but despite the work that DUAR police personnel joined in, the death was confirmed.
The victim “did not know how to swim”, according to what his partner, who was on the site, would have commented to the authorities.
The judicial case is in charge of Reymundo Barrera, from the Cruz del Eje prosecutor’s office.
