There is a royal order. His Majesty the King conferred military ranks on 27 officers, ranging from second lieutenant to lieutenant colonel.
On August 16, 2024, reporters reported that the Royal Gazette website published an announcement on August 15, 2024, to confer military ranks on civil servants in the commissioned military departments. Organized and managed in accordance with Article 15 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand 2017, Articles 4 and 9 of the Royal Administrative Regulations Act 2017, and Articles 10, 13 and 15 of the Royal Government Decree. The personal work of His Majesty’s Government Officials, 2017, and Section 5 of the Military Ranks Act BE 2479, His Majesty graciously conferred military ranks on His Majesty’s Civil Service. The active military division, 27 officers are as follows:
1. Major Somsak Suthimoon is a Lieutenant Colonel.
2. Major Wiwat Sudthason was Lieutenant Colonel.
3. Major Kritsaphak Kusujarit is a Lieutenant Colonel.
4. Captain Phuwich Phakdirak is a major.
5. Captain Peeraphong Meechaidee was a Major.
6. Captain Krit Thapwanan is a Major.
7. Captain Vitoon Ounkaew is a Major.
8. Captain Wittawat Runtha was a Major.
9. Chatchawan Hongkalok is captained by a Major.
10. Captain Phuchit Mongkham is a Major.
11. Captain Narongsak Runasa is a Major.
12. Lieutenant Anand Surat is a Captain.
13. Lieutenant Yuthaphon Phubuakham was a captain.
14. Lieutenant Anon Thinthan was a captain.
15. Lieutenant Khomsan Majungern was a captain.
16. Lieutenant Yutthaphong Wanthongtak served as Captain.
17. Lieutenant Chayanyuth Panyasattaphon served as Captain.
18. Natthaphong Kaewsitrai Second Lieutenant
19. Second Lieutenant Anant Panchakar is a Lieutenant.
20. Lieutenant Yutthana Lengsudjai is a Lieutenant.
21. Sergeant Pornsak Suwan is a second lieutenant.
22. Sergeant Weerachai Laobutsa is a second lieutenant.
23. Sergeant Montree Bangpa is a second lieutenant.
24. Sergeant Woranipit Nueangjamnong is a second lieutenant.
25. Sergeant Teeraphong Sinuankaew is a second lieutenant.

27. Petcharung Poolsombat The Master Chief is a Second Lieutenant.
This regulation will take effect from August 11, 2024.
The announcement was made on August 15, 2024, the ninth year of the current administration.
