At the same time, they emphasized that “Hajj Metwally’s first wife” is still beautiful despite her increased weight and advanced age.
Magda Zaki was born on December 12, 1958 (63 years old) in the Shubra neighborhood of Cairo, and she is the sister of the Captain of Actors in Egypt, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, husband of the artist Rogina.
She joined the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and graduated from it with a bachelor’s degree, and began her artistic career through her role with the artist Adel Imam in the series “Dreams of the Flying Boy” in 1978.
After that, she participated in several different artistic works, including the series “The Family of Hajj Metwally” in 2001 with the artist Nour Al-Sharif, the artist Ghada Abdel Razek and the artist Somaya Al-Khashab.
She also played a starring role in the series “My Right to My Neck”, and the series “Abbas Al-Abyad in the Black Day” with Yahya Al-Fakharani.
And her last artwork was the series “Counter Attack”, which was shown during the current year 2021.
As for her films, the most prominent of them are: “Mothers in Exile”, “Love in the Dungeon”, “Angels do not inhabit the earth”, “Terror and Kebabs”, “Congratulations and Bulbul”, “Speech in the Forbidden” and others.
The artist, Magda Zaki, married the artist Kamal Abu Raya, in 1988, and had three children from him: Ahmed, Kamal and Habiba, and then separated from him in 2014.
Magda Zaki is one of the most prominent Egyptian drama stars, and the audience did not forget many of her roles, including the role of “Amina”, which she played brilliantly in the series The Family of Hajj Metwally.
