The collision occurred around 6:30 p.m. between two heavy goods vehicles and a car on a fast lane near Blanzy, in a work zone.
According to a first assessment of the firefighters, the two drivers of the heavy goods vehicles perished in a violent fire which followed the collision.
A third body, charred, was then found in one of the trucks, said the sub-prefect of Autun Marc Makhlouf who went there.
The driver of the light vehicle, aged 32, was only slightly injured.

The accident completely blocked traffic and required the intervention of around fifty firefighters.
