Al-Marsad newspaper: The technical expert, “Abdulaziz Al-Hammadi”, explained how to know the leakage of bank data through online purchases.

He said during an interview with the “Ya Hala” program broadcast on the Gulf Rotana channel: “There are two types of sites, known and unknown.”

He pointed out that the famous websites in the Kingdom can be purchased from them securely, as the data is not kept except with the consent of the owner.

He warned once morest fake or unknown websites, especially if the card is linked to a bank account. He explained that if the card holder did so, he would have made his bank account available to an entity he did not know.

He added: Originally, the card’s data is not saved without the consent of its owner. Pointing out that if the card is saved in a site and the site is hacked, the card may also be hacked.

He pointed out that in the case of purchases from sites outside the Kingdom, the data is often preserved.
