A Symbolic Attraction in Walibi Closes Down: End of an Era (Photo)

According to reports, the “Tuf Tuf Club” and its bumper cars have disappeared from Wavre, and the building housing the attraction was demolished over the winter. It is said that the bumper cars have been stored in a restaurant, but it remains unknown if they will be used in another park or scrapped. Additionally, the bumper cars also served as a haunted house during Halloween. As for the space that the attraction once occupied, a new attraction called “Silverton” is set to be introduced this year, which will feature swinging steam engines in a mill-like setting. The ride will be of an XL sidecar type attraction and will be available to children over 140 cm tall.

This attraction was inaugurated in 2001. Children taller than 140 cm might ride. This is where, apparently, a new attraction will see the light of day this year. This is the “Silverton”, a mill with swinging steam engines. This is an XL sidecar type attraction.

The disappearance of the “Tuf Tuf Club” and its bumper cars has left many wondering regarding their fate. While they have been stored in a restaurant for now, it remains to be seen whether they will be used in another park or end up in a junkyard. The attraction had been a staple at Walibi since 2001, but it seems that a new ride will take its place this year in the form of the “Silverton” – a swinging steam engine mill. As we look towards the future, we can only hope that Walibi continues to delight visitors with exciting rides and attractions.
