There are few foreign stars who are as much fans in Hungary as Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. The star of Don Matteo has also visited our country, for example when they shot a commercial with him, in which Ervin Nagy had a joint scene with the slapper. It is rather strange that one of the most famous Italian actors in the world does not speak his original voice in an Italian dubbed film, and it was only at the beginning of the 2000s that his real voice was recognized in Don Matteo. There were certainly financial reasons why he didn’t dub himself, probably none of the dubbing studios would have been able to pay the money the actor would have asked for the job.
