The Minister of the Displaced, Essam Sharaf El-Din, criticized the decision to postpone the change of the clock during the holy month of Ramadan. According to him, there was no need for such confusion. In an interview with “Voice of All Lebanon”, Sharafeddine expressed his disappointment in the fact that the decision was made without considering anyone’s opinion, especially when the two most important men in the state met. He also stated that his ministry has a direct relationship with Syria and that if there was a president of the republic, Mikati would have to rest and his people to rest from him.

He added, “Our relationship with the ministry is direct in Syria, and I believe that if there was a president of the republic, Mikati would have to rest and his people to rest from him.”
