With mixed feelings of sadness and pain, a Saudi mother revealed that her son had a fractured skull and severe internal bleeding inside a school in Riyadh.
In her interview with Al Arabiya.net, Osama Al-Ghamdi’s mother explained that her son was injured following one of the students pushed him, and he fell on his head inside the Al-Badiya Primary School in the Najm Al-Din neighborhood in Riyadh.
She also added: My son had convulsions and blood flowed from his mouth due to the assault of one of the students on him, because of his request to go to the bathroom, so what was the student who was appointed sergeant of the class, except that he threw him on the ground in a movement similar to the movement of wrestlers, which led to his injury Severe brain injuries and convulsions at school.

She indicated that the incident occurred last Tuesday, when she was surprised by a call from the school at ten in the morning, and asked for someone to attend due to the travel of the child’s father, and she heard the voice of her son crying, so she came quickly, to find him isolated in a room, amid the demands of the school administration that he should be taken to the hospital.
Skull fracture and brain hemorrhage
She also pointed out that she took her son to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Hospital in her car, and following he was examined, he was transferred to Al-Shumaisi Hospital, to confirm his need for surgical intervention for his head injury to repair the fracture and stop the bleeding, where the case was diagnosed with a skull fracture and internal bleeding in the brain. The operation was performed while her little one was still in intensive care.
The mother demanded an investigation into the incident, as her son obtained his right from the student, who almost caused him a complete disability.
