a Spurs star feels responsible for Conte’s departure!

If we even learned in recent days that most of the locker room was happy with his departure, the sessions being too exhausting and stereotyped, this does not seem to be the case for Heung-min Son. Asked about the departure of his trainer at the microphone of Sky Sports after the match between South Korea and Uruguay (1-2), he made no secret of feeling responsible:

“As a player, I’m really sorry. He’s a world-class coach and we’ve had a great journey together. I should have played better. I feel responsible for him leaving, because I didn’t have so much helped the club. I’m grateful for what he’s done. He’s such a good coach and he has so much experience. I will support him.”

As a reminder, the South Korean international, top scorer in the Premier League with Mohamed Salah last year, is having a lot more trouble this season, having only shaken the net six times in the league for four assists in 26 matches.
