A special mirror has been installed in the bathroom of a bar in China and is becoming a rice field. With this mirror, I might see the women’s room on the other side from the men’s room.
According to Chinese portal Sina.com, on the 13th (local time), a video filmed in the bathroom of a bar in downtown Guilin, Guangxi Province was uploaded online.
In the video, women were adjusting their clothes while looking in the mirror at the sink in the women’s bathroom. Across the street was the men’s restroom.
There was a mirror in the men’s restroom right in front of the urinal. However, this was no ordinary mirror.
There was a metal coating on the transparent glass that allowed you to see both the women on the other side and the inside of the women’s room. From the outside, it was an ordinary mirror.
While female customers use the bathroom as usual without knowing this fact, they can sneak a glimpse of this in the men’s bathroom on the other side divided by a wall in the middle.
Some argued that the sink with the mirror was ‘public’, not for women only. Then netizens said, “What’s important is that the sink is shared. Anyway, it’s a crime.”
Upon receiving the report, the Guilin Municipal Market Supervision Administration said, “We have not received any related reports before. If the situation is true, we will take action immediately.”
Meanwhile, this is not the first time such a special mirror has been installed. In 2016, a landlord in Beijing installed a double-sided mirror in her bathroom, but she was caught by a female tenant.
