The Racing Club de Lens unveiled a special jersey this Friday for Sainte-Barbewhich will be worn by the Sang et Or this Saturday once morest Olympique Lyonnais. This jersey, designed by Puma, features the club’s traditional colors of green and gold. It is decorated with motifs recalling the history of Saint Barbara, the patron saint of miners, firefighters and fireworks.

It includes the tower where Saint Barbara was imprisoned, a stained glass window with her image, slag heaps, a miner’s lamp and the inscription “Sainte-Barbe”. On the back of the jersey, additional motifs are visible to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Bollaert-Delelis stadium, with the inscription “1933 – 2023”, a pictogram of the stadium or even the name of Félix Bollaert. Finally, one of the club’s historic logos, which gives pride of place to the mining past, is present once more.

It was in a tattoo parlor, located near the Bollaert-Delelis Stadium, that Jean-Louis Leca, David Pereira da Costa, Facundo Medina, Jonathan Gradit and Florian Sotoca, met for the filming of the “reveal”. Supporters will also have the opportunity to wear one of these temporary tattoos. This jersey is made in France from recycled polyester fiber.
