The social networking company for short tweets, “Twitter”, revealed the launch of a new feature that only iOS users can benefit from at the present time.
These are intended to create GIFs through their own camera icon via its digital app, but only for iOS users for now.
And in a post, the company explained how to create a moving image (GIF), and said that the user would click on the camera icon inside the application, then choose the (GIF) icon, then start recording immediately, noting, through several animated images that she shared with the audience via On her official account, these photos will not be long, as they are only a few seconds.
After recording the clip, the user can choose between several playback formats.
For example, he can play the clip from front to back and repeat it in a loop, or play it like the “Boomerang” feature from the “Instagram” application. Once you have finished recording the clip, it will be automatically saved to your camera roll of GIF files and not to your video album.
In addition, the company did not indicate when the feature might be rolled out for the Android operating system.
“Twitter will be collecting feedback from existing users for possible future updates,” said Stephanie Cortez, a company spokeswoman.
Twitter usually makes new updates available for all operating systems eventually.
The new feature allows users to post clips of their photos in a unique way, which helps to facilitate and increase communication and interaction between users.
In this context, the company has recently launched several features aimed at increasing user interaction, including the ability to repost clips from the “Spaces” feature.
The company has also added a new update to its digital platform that will make it easier to switch between the main types of feeds that display the latest tweets, whether they are algorithmic or chronological.
