A source in Al-Ahly Club confirmed that there is no intention to postpone the Al-Ahly club’s confrontation with Pyramids, which is scheduled to be held tomorrow, Tuesday, postponed from the eighth week in the Egyptian WE League.
A source in the Pyramids Club had said earlier, that Al-Ahly club has the right to request the postponement of its match once morest the team if it is requested by the Association of Clubs. (see details)
A source said, in exclusive statements to Laila Koura, that the Al-Ahly and Pyramids match will be held on its normal schedule, and there is no intention to postpone.
The source indicated that the Al-Ahly club’s mission will go to South Africa immediately following the end of the match, via a private plane, in preparation for the Sundowns match in the African Champions League.
Al-Ahly is preparing to face Sundowns, next Saturday, in the fourth round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
And a source in Al-Ahly revealed to Lilacora earlier, that there are two scenarios for traveling to South Africa due to the Pyramids meeting. That day to South Africa, and the second case is to travel immediately following the Pyramids match, if it was held. (see details)
It is worth noting that Dr. Mohamed Shawky, a member of the council, has been assigned to head the first football team’s mission, which will leave for Johannesburg to face Sundowns.
