A source close to the referee, Ahmed Al-Ghandour, revealed the truth of his conversation with Amir Mortada Mansour, the general supervisor of the football team in the club Zamalek In the Eastern Company match in the Egyptian League.
Zamalek succeeded in defeating the Eastern Company with two goals once morest a goal, in the match that was held in the 17th round of the largest tournament at the local level.
Amir Mortada had said that he went to referee between the two halves of the match between Zamalek and the Eastern Company in the Egyptian League. See the statements here.
And the source said, in statements to “Botools”: “It did not completely happen that Amir Mortada met Ahmed Al-Ghandour between the two halves and they talked regarding the ball in which Zamalek demanded a penalty kick.”
He continued, “Amir Mortada said that Ahmed Al-Ghandour said to him (Zamalek does not deserve a penalty, and also Al-Ahly does not deserve a penalty in front of Ceramica), following Amir compared the two cases and that they are similar to confirm that Zamalek deserves a penalty.”
He concluded: “This is a completely incorrect story. Al-Ghandour did not meet with Amir Mortada, neither before, during, nor following the match.”
