Firefighters were called to rue Henri Hurard in Verviers on Friday evening due to a fire in an apartment’s kitchen. One person was slightly affected by smoke inhalation and taken to a hospital by ambulance. The other residents were able to return home following airing their apartments. 18 firefighters were present at the scene.
Firefighters from the Vesdre, Hoëgne and Plateau area intervened rue Henri Hurard in Verviers following a fire on Friday evening.
The fire broke out in the kitchen of an apartment. A person was slightly intoxicated by the fumes and transported by the Verviers ambulance to the Verviers CHR. The other inhabitants of the building were able to return to their homes following ventilating them. 18 firefighters were on site.
