Al-Marsad newspaper: The results of two studies showed that people suffering from infection with the Corona virus may have several types of the virus hidden away from the immune system in different parts of their bodies.
According to Al Arabiya, researchers from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom and the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research in Germany noted during their study that the results they concluded confirm that getting rid of the virus completely from the body of an infected person may be more difficult.
The two studies, published in the journal Nature Communications and transmitted by “Bold Sky”, show how the virus can clearly evolve in different types of cells, and how it adapts to the immunity of the infected person.
The researchers verified the function of the pocket that is formed in the virus protein during the virus infection cycle, stressing that this pocket that the virus uses to enter and infect cells, played a key role in viral infection.
